In a society where information is at our fingertips, which could be seen as a benefit or a fault, this book will take you on a must know journey for pregnancy through the eyes of a nurse who has experience many different pregnancies with many different patients.

Pregnancy for black women in the United States and across the world looks a lot different than our female counterparts. Our voices are not head with clarity, our fears are not validated by the professionals who are supposed to protect us. As a OB/GYN & baby nurse, over the years I have learned what it feels like to be the only advocate in the room for a black woman as their black nurse.
